Renee Sauder

Renee is a 1983 graduate of Anabaptist Mennonite Biblical Seminary, Elkhart Indiana and has served in long term and intentional interim pastorates in Kansas and Ontario over the last 30 years. She has been an instructor in preaching and worship through the AMBS Pastoral Studies Distance Education Program, reflective of her passion for the spoken word.  She is constantly looking for connections between the Biblical story and human experience, grappling with how moments in life intersect with faith.

Renee joined the ministry team full time at Stirling in August 2012. In addition to her passion for worship and preaching, she enjoys pastoral care and has a special fondness for relating to older adults where she is immersed in their memorable stories of life and faith.

Gardening, reading and hiking are some of her favourite restorative activities as well as road trip adventures throughout the United States and Canada with her husband Fred.
